Stretch Budgets Don’t Set Up Your Nonprofit Team For Success

CEOs - There are two words that just might be keeping your board and development team from fully funding your nonprofit's budget every year.

Those two words?

STRETCH BUDGET

Ask yourself these questions:

❓Do you need $4.5M to kinda just get by and really hope to get an additional $500K if you’re lucky?

❓Or, do you need $5M this year to accomplish your mission or not? (Only one approach helps your team raise to their goal.)

💣Stretch budgets don’t set your team up for success.

Your Fundraising team needs to know how to create a true plan that propels them to reach the true $5M need. Why would your team set their fundraising goal on a number they HOPE to reach?

Now, CEO, you've got to keep your end of the deal also….have you trained and equipped your team to actually do this? That is, use every hour wisely to secure all your donors' best gifts?

If no, 2024 might be your year to train your team, equip them with the tools they need to 2X-5X gifts, and invest in teaching them how to reach or exceed that goal every year.

Whenever you’re ready, here are THREE things you can do next:
