Nonprofit Fundraising: How Your Development Team Can Secure Unrestricted Gifts

Nonprofit Leaders: I don't need to tell you that UNRESTRICTED gen-ops donations make the greatest difference to...your mission, your annual growth, your infrastructure, and your long-term sustainability.

But here's what I hear too often…

⚠️Nobody wants to give unrestricted gifts. They aren't sexy.
⚠️People only like to give to tangible projects.
⚠️We don't know anyone who would give large unrestricted gifts.

These statements are NOT TRUE. Flip those statements around and ask these questions…

Does my development team:

❓know how to lead donors through investment level conversations?
❓present our financials to explain how gen-ops $ propel the entire mission?
❓solicit major gifts in one-on-one meetings (vs. application, event, or appeals)?
❓consistently do the things that ATTRACT investment level donors who GET IT (& would give unrestricted gifts)?

If you've answered no to any of the above, we should talk.

How about you? What belief do you need to challenge today?

As a result of learning her methodology, Sherry’s clients become sustainable, diversify revenue, and know how to add significant amounts gen-ops revenue to their budgets.
